Mikayla Bodenheimer is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky. Mikayla graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Leadership Studies from Murray State University. She continued her education at the University of Kentucky and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working in an outpatient setting treating mental health and substance use disorders. 

Mikayla works with individuals ranging in ages from 10 years and older with a variety of concerns including, but not limited to anxiety, body image, depression, life transitions, grief and substance use. She has the option to offer an emphasis in faith-based counseling. She utilizes evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing. 

Mikayla strives to empower clients by creating a welcoming space that encourages growth and strength. She meets clients where they’re at and will assist in helping them navigate next steps while cheering for them along the way.
