Kirstin believes therapy should be a safe and supportive space where clients can grow in the direction they choose. Her approach is kind, compassionate, and collaborative, while also offering motivation and healthy confrontation when it can help clients move forward.

Kirstin earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University. She specializes in working with trauma and PTSD, including providing EMDR therapy, and has experience working with first responders as they navigate the unique stressors, trauma, and emotional challenges that can come with their work. Kirstin also has experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals with varying mental health stressors including anxiety and depression.

Kirstin is trained in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, CBT, and CPT, and she tailors treatment to each client's individual needs and goals. She views therapy through a family systems and solution-focused lens, recognizing the impact that relationships, experiences, and environment can have on overall well-being.

Her goal is to help clients process difficult experiences, develop effective coping skills, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether someone is healing from trauma, navigating recovery, coping with the demands of being a first responder, or simply feeling stuck, Kirstin strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Kirstin accepts most major insurance plans.
