Kennedy is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA) in the state of Kentucky. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University.
Kennedy utilizes evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques including Person-Centered approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness-Based, Trauma-Informed and techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space for all her clients’ journey and growth.
Kennedy has experience working with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders/concerns, body image, ADHD, OCD, trauma, life transitions, and general mental health issues. She specializes in counseling adolescents to adults (ages 15+), but has worked with all ages!
Kennedy looks forward to meeting you and working through your journey together! She is able to see clients with most Medicaid plans.
