Rachel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky and provides individual therapy and counseling services to adults and adolescents. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Rachel continued her education at the University of Kentucky to obtain a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Rachel has an extensive history working with individuals with substance use disorders/dual diagnosis and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Rachel has worked in psychiatric hospitals that specialize in treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, inpatient detoxification and Intensive Outpatient Treatment.
Rachel Held, MRC, LPCC, CADC has training and experience in helping individuals with a variety of needs, such as, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, personality disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders. She uses evidence-based practices and treatment modalities, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Person-Center Therapy.
Rachel provides a holistic approach and wants to meet clients where they are and work towards establishing healthy goals to help clients become the best version of themselves possible.
