Monica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or LPCC. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Art from Eastern Kentucky University and has been licensed to practice independently since 2002. In her professional career, Monica has worked with a variety of populations, including residential and outpatient substance abuse and domestic violence. Some of her specialties involve grief & loss counseling and couples counseling. Monica provides counseling to individuals, children, couples and families from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, with the focus being that of increasing life satisfaction.
Monica has two children and enjoys kayaking, scrapbooking and music. She has volunteered for many organizations including Adopt A Highway, Salvation Army and many church & school functions.
