Monica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or LPCC. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Art from Eastern Kentucky University and has been licensed to practice independently since 2002. In her professional career, Monica has worked with a variety of populations, including residential and outpatient domestic violence. Some of her specialties involve grief & loss counseling and couples counseling. Monica provides counseling to individuals, children, couples and families from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, with the focus being that of increasing life satisfaction.

Monica is our claims manager for all of Lexington Counseling and Psychiatry. Paul Dalton has entrusted her to make sure all of the insurance claims are processed in a timely manner and are correct and accurate.

Monica has two children and enjoys kayaking, scrapbooking and music. She has volunteered for many organizations including Adopt A Highway, Salvation Army and many church & school functions.
