Linda is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 11 years of experience working with children, teens and families in community mental health treatment. As a former in-home therapist and supervisor in Family Preservation Programs and Clinical In-Home Services, Linda worked with a diverse population of children, teens and families in six counties of central Kentucky. Prior to earning her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, Linda worked as a social worker and program supervisor in children, family and adult services in Florida.
As a professional counselor, Linda uses a multi-modal approach in assessing and treating children, teens and family members which is collaborative and solution focused.
Believing in the power of individual growth and change, Linda engages her clients to identify their needs, use their strengths and develop insights, skills and resources to create the positive changes in their daily lives and relationships.
Linda provides assessments for children, teens and adults and has clinical training and experience providing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Modification, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused treatment and Panic Control, Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
