Nicole Lally is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker qualified to practice independently of supervision. Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She has been practicing in the mental health treatment field since 2014.

Nicole has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of mental health, behavioral issues, and trauma. I am also a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and am extremely passionate about helping adolescents and adults suffering from substance use disorders achieve freedom and recovery from their substance use. I am equally passionate about assisting family members struggling with maladaptive behaviors stemming from substance use disorders, such as codependency.

Nicole has a variety of experiences in different settings, including community based outpatient, traditional outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient levels of care. She utilizes evidenced-based practices and therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, client centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and strength based approaches to assist and empower clients in achieving their identified goals.
Nicole's biggest strength as a therapist is her empathetic nature and she believes in the power of empathy as described by Brene Brown, Ph.D., LMSW: "I'm in it with you, I'm not here to fix you, I'm not here to feel it for you, I'm here to feel with you and let you know you're not alone". She also believes in and encourages her clients to lean into discomfort in order to work towards growth and healing.
