New Lindsey is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to her pursuit of nursing, Lindsey received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, and furthered her behavioral health experience at Eastern State Hospital and The Ridge. She obtained her nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
Lindsey has over ten years of patient care experience with children and adults, including medical/surgical in Lexington, emergency medicine in Chicago, and behavioral health for inpatient children at Indiana University Hospital.
Lindsey has worked with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, and traumas, to name a few. She believes in treating the whole person in a non-judgmental environment, while focusing on symptom management and overall well-being. Caring for her patients begins with a foundation based on trust, respect, and compassion.
